Gridscript

Getting Started

GridScript is a browser-based data workspace that combines the flexibility of a spreadsheet with the power of scripting and visualization — all in one place. It’s designed to make data analysis accessible, fast, and collaborative without complex setup or external tools.

Whether you’re exploring a CSV file, cleaning messy data, writing custom transformations, or creating charts, GridScript provides everything inside a single interactive grid. Think of it as your lightweight data lab — no code required, but powerful enough for developers when needed.

Core Features

  • Interactive Grid – Edit, filter, sort, and transform your data in real time.
  • Data Tools – Perform common cleaning and manipulation operations like Filter, Sort, Join, Split, and Deduplicate directly from the toolbar.
  • Charts – Turn tables into interactive visualizations such as bar, line, scatter, or pie charts without leaving the workspace.
  • Scripting – Use JavaScript to programmatically manipulate your dataset and automate workflows.
  • Import & Export – Seamlessly bring in data from Excel or CSV and export results with one click.
  • Workspaces – Organize your projects and keep multiple datasets, transformations, and visualizations together.

Accounts & Anonymous Workspaces

You can start using GridScript immediately — no signup required. If you prefer to experiment without creating an account, you can work inside an anonymous workspace.

An anonymous workspace is a temporary environment created automatically for you. It allows you to explore, import data, create charts, and test GridScript’s features without saving anything permanently to an account.

Anonymous workspaces are by default saved locally, allowing you to retain your data privately.
